Faith Episode 20 Rough Live Recap

With just 4 episodes left, I'm feeling really down. We're this close to the end, but we have no clue about what will happen to both our couples. At least we know that if the show ends within 1 month in Goryeo, we'll get happy ending for NG-GM for now, cause we won't get to see the timeframe when Noguk dies. But we know nothing for Eunsoo and Young.

I'm honestly really sad that we'll have to part with this show, which gave us a wonderful rollercoaster ride.
Anyway, I'll be updating this post for Episode 20.

If I could, I would do anything, in order to take away their sorrows and pain.
My royal couple, things will get harder from here. But as long as you two love, happiness will stay within you.

Episode starts

Narrates: I remember that day, walking this path with him... and everything with him… If I keep this here… I’m not sure if the you of a 100 years later will see this… I am not sure, but still I will just keep the hope that you will see this. I thought over and over... If i went back to the palace with him, would the King and Queen get through this? Then he wouldn't have been guilty...

Eunsoo from 100 years walks in that same area, and narrates the letter. She continues: If I can go back to that day with that guy, being with him, seeing his eyes and smile again... if I can do that…. So Eunsoo, don’t run away like me, even if this will be the last day for you, don’t run away and regret.
CY asks what’s happening, and she asks him to hug her.

He tells her to tell him what’s happening.. she looks back at the rock.. And shakes her head.

But she doesn’t. She then tells him: If anything happens to the King and Queen, while you’re not with them, will you be fine?

He asks her what’s she’s talking about. He holds her, asking what she means. She holds back on to him, and his face, and says… How?

They walk and he asks what’s shes doing?

She says they have to go back for the King and Queen. Young tells her the consequences if they go back. They are going to the heavens door now, and if they go back now, the consequences will be bad.

She says they can think about that later, but they have to go first. He tells her to explain.

She shows him the capsule, and tells him the contents say that they can save NG and GM… telling him about how if they go back now, they can save the king and queen.

He looks at it and asks about it.

She asks him if he doesn’t believe what she says. He says he does, because it’s what she said. She said so they will go back to the palace now?

So he said they will see about what they can do. He says, after checking out everything, he will decide what they will do next.

She starts coughing, and he sits her down. He feeds some water to her, and asks her if she has a fever.

She checks, and says she doesn’t.

CS reports to GM about NG going missing.

He screams saying he has to find NG.

CS convinces him not to, and he orders them to get Suribangs help instead.

He thinks and thinks about what they can do now.

He then says, the queen’s body isn’t good..

CS says he can go and find her now.

GM then asks about CY, if there is any news about him.

CS says no..

Lady choi comes in, and says she deserves to die for not protecting  NG.

She brings a letter, the letter that NG hid in her room.

Lady choi says she checked about it already. He reads it and tells CS to go and search the place where SY is in.

CS and DB go to SY…. And says it is the King’s order. They get him to go with them.

NG is unconscious.
ES looks at him from a far as he finds out about stuff.

ES thinks about what the letter said: “Don’t run away like me… even if it becomes the last day for you”

CY comes and says he thinks everything is fine.
She says to CY, if I say I will go to the heavens door alone and you go back, you won’t allow it right?

She says they should go back to the palace together. He rules out the idea, but she says do I have to get angry and flare up before you allow it?

She says do you want to let me go so quickly? She continues to reason with him…

And he says so how?

She says, let’s go back.

He tells her to stand here, and someone comes and attacks him. Young hits the guy.

Young tells her to stay here and move to nowhere… She goes to the guy that’s injured.

CY meets one of the Yuan guys, and starts to fight with him.

He then lets the guy off…

He comes back to her. She says his hurt again…

He asks if she’s going to continue be angry if they don’t go back?

He says they’ll go back and check if NG-GM are fine.

He explains to him about how Yuan wants her life and how its not safe. Still, does she want to go?

She thinks about it, and about what the letter said… "even if it is the last day…"

She says yes she wants to go.. (for she doesn’t want to regret) He tells her he won’t let her get captured.

She then looks at CY’s wound.

GM is talking to SY, asking him about the letter NG received.
He asks SY, saying the seal of the letter is his. He demands that SY tells him where NG is.

He then flares up, unable to control his emotions, trying to squeeze out the answer of where NG is.
SY then explains that even though its his seal, the writing isn't his.

He then wants to lock SY up to get the answer, but DC advises him, saying he shouldn’t (Cause his a yuan guy)

SY goes back to DH and DH asks about the whole thing, asking if he used SY's seal.. SY figured out that DH was the one that got the letter to NG. He set the whole thing up. (DAMN YOU DH)
DH however, denies. SY said that he came to Goryeo for Yuan, to make sure that Goryeo is still under Yuan. And to prevent a war. 

SY then says, however, if anything happens to NG, it will be trouble. The King of Yuan, who is her father, will be angry. He tells DH that no matter what, NG must be safe. DH smirks and says, what can happen to her. She will be safe.

NG wakes up. And she tries to walk. She’s weak, and falls after taking a few steps.

She crawls and reaches the door. She asks if anyone is outside, in a weak voice.

She looks around, and finds a teapot. She drinks from it directly, as she has no energy.

She then rests helplessly.

GM is still worrying about NG as he talks to Lady choi. He worries if NG isn't in the capital anymore. Lady choi says how people has been finding her. He orders for more measures.

He says, if after all these… I can’t find her… And he remains in his thoughts..

He then tells them to get DH.

KC is talking to his sworn siblings again.

KC then talks about DH to his sworn siblings, and that DH probably never believed about ES being from heaven.

Eumja then says he doesn’t as well. And everyone else say they don’t as well.

KC then says what if it is really not true... and he starts to turn angry, but he still feels sure that ES's from heaven.

Y and ES return to manbo siblings place. Manbo sister tells about NG being kidnapped.

She asks if they came back for this.

DH comes to the King, and GM says that the two of them will talk alone. CS tries to tell him it is dangerous, but he says only him and DH will be in the room.

GM walks to DH..

“My queen…”

DH says he heard about it.

GM: “Return her to me.”

DH pretends he doesn’t know what’s going on.

GM continues, telling him to return her.

He asks what he must do to get her back. He talks about NG’s body, and how uncomfortable she must be now.

DH says I don’t know who did that, but if it is done. DH talks about the consequences of NG being missing. He says if news of NG being missing spreads to Yuan... If Yuan knows about it, GM will be in a bad spot, cause he will be a King that mistreated the Queen, who is the princess of Yuan.

GM starts to cry. He says that he cannot give up Goryeo to Yuan. He says DH is also from Goryeo, he should be on the same side as him, not Yuan.  

GM cries, and says what must he do to let NG live? If he gives up his position as the King can he save her? *sobs* GM tears. He says if you want to be the King, you can have it, but give me back my Queen.

CY is checking out everything, and then he and suribang gather for a meeting. He is planning to get NG back.

ES is thinking at a corner of the room.

Lady choi is here.

He meets Lady choi outside. She asks why he came back.

He says ES cried to him, saying the King and Queen is in trouble, and they have to go back.

He asks about GM…
He was told that DH didn't leave his quarters at all. He then said, then there must be someone helping DH... 

ES then cuts into the conversation. She says she knew its DH.

Lady choi says but they don’t have any evidence that it’s him.

She wanted to give a suggestion, about something she saw from a movie.

She says she has a plan, and she will go to DH to get NG back, but Y says no to it.

Lady choi tries to say something about NG (But my stream buffers)

(Buffers)

GM is looking at the NG’s cloth alone.

CY comes in.

He asks if he can ask GM something.

He says he heard about GM meeting DH.

He says what did you two say?

GM says you shouldn’t have came back. I've let you go, why did you come back?

CY says: “Please take me back”

GM says I don’t think I can save her… there's no way. I thought about killing DH, but i am unable to do so... There's nothing i can do.. He gets emotional, and goes on.

Young moves the table, making NG’s mask fall on the floor.

GM, like a lost child reaches quickly back for it.

CY tells him he needs to know, about what DH and GM said. 

GM tells him…. As he cries. He said i begged him to give her back to me. He said, I even told DH that i'll give up my country, just to get her back.

CY tells him about what ES said. He says GM cannot give up, or there won’t be a reason for Young himself to be here.

CY tells GM to give him an order.

GM then orders him to get his Queen back safely.

GM goes on about how Y came back to him.

He says, I can’t be back yet. I just came because of someone’s request. He gets ready to get NG back.

ES meets DH.

DH tells her that she's gonna be killed tomorrow. 

She asks him if he remembers about her knowing about his set up to kill Young.

She says because of a letter, she knows about NG being kidnapped and where she is.

She then shows him the new letter she has from the capsule.

This makes him feel uncomfortable.

She then stops, and says, she wants the antidote. So they should trade. If he gives her the antidote, she will not tell the King where NG is.

She asks if he will give the antidote.

She says tell me, do you really have an antidote for this poison? And the last pages of my book, you have it? (Sarcastically) If you have it, show me?

He says he has the antidote, and he will give it to her if she stays by his side. She says she doesn’t want to do that. And leaves.

She comes out, and Young grabs her. She shows him the victory sign, and he heaves a sigh of relief.

He brushes her hair.

DH’s right hand guy reports to him saying that the army started to evacuate. He says don't bother, cause they still have NG. Suribang kid overhears this.

GM recaps to the first time he met NG, when he asks her to marry him, without knowing she’s the princess.

And then till the first time he held on to her to console her. And then when she was at the village. He looks at the mask, and asks DC if there’s any news.

DC says no…

GM asks if she will come back. DC says she will.

He leaves the mask at his desk. He comes to a meeting with SY and the ministers.

However before the meeting can start, KC comes.

KC says he heard there’s an important meeting that’s why he came.

He sits himself down.

SY then starts to talking about his suggestion, and says if GM is ready.

GM says, about how SY asked him to rid ES and keep the seal from Yuan. He asks DC to give the seal to SY. He says for this whole time, he used the royal seal well. But now, this country doesn’t need the seal anymore, so they’ll return it.

He says the 2^nd thing…. Eunsoo comes in. GM says ES is the high doctor here, and she saved his queen and even till his heart. She cured him and the Queen, and she's not some evil person.

Some man comes to NG’s room.

She asks who is the one that called you to do this.

He adds some potion into her teapot, and pours a cup for her.  He says all she has to do is to drink this, everything will be easy. He says that he was told to kill her if GM still insists about keeping Goryeo.

He tries to feed her the drink, but she holds up a knife, however she’s too weak, and he almost feeds it her, but Young comes in.

He asks if she is fine, and carries her out. The guy that tried to feed NG that drink kills himself.

SY asks if ES is really from heaven.

GM says she isn’t it was all rumours. He says that cause her medical skills was so great, rumours spread like that.
 

ES then says she isn’t, it wasn’t heaven.

KC looks shocked. ES mouths some words to KC to calm him down.

GM then says even if a war erupts because of this, he can't help it.

GM says to end this here, about ES.

SY says he understands.

He stands up to leave, but tells ES that he will meet her soon.

GM is told that NG is back.

GM rushes out. KC comes to ES and asks if all those were lies, about heaven.

She tries to explain, but they call for her, because she needs to treat NG.

They go to NG’s room, and ES goes in. GM is uneasy waiting outside.

ES comes back out, and says that NG is safe and fine… But….. the baby is lost. She explains to GM that she probably was drinking some stuff there, that caused her to lose the baby. GM tries to accept the fact calmly, and walks into the room. Everyone outside the room starts to sob for them. ES… DC, Woodalchi looks down as well. Y goes in front of ES to hold her hand.

*sobs*

GM enters the room, and sees NG lying on the bed. He sits down next to her… he then leans in to hug her. *sobs*

She’s crying in her bed, and he hugs her from the back. She then turns around and hugs him back. They both hug each other tightly, as they drown in their sorrow….

Y finds ES and says he heard about how she said she wasn’t from heaven.

Y tells her about their situation. He says there’s only two ways out now. One is to escape till the heaven’s door open. He then talks about the 2^nd option… about how everyone wants her and all…

She says she has a third option. She will hide in the safest place in Goryeo, till the door opens.

He says where is that. She says she needs permission for that as well.

CY talks to the palace guard that has been helping him for the past few eps.

He tells him about CY’s master… about how CY's master thought the sword was heavy for him (Cause CY's master was friends with his father). CY hears stuff and thinks back to the time where his master died to safe Maehee.
The palace guard then asks about CY, and about how long has he been doing this, killing people with his sword and all.. He said that he heard CY is gonna stop working as an woodalchi. He says everyone is worried about that.  He then asks, "so is it the same for you now? Is your sword heavy for you now?"

KC is being emotional. He then meets DH. He tells him that they should go back to his home, and finish what they planned to do.

CY meets some Woodalchi. They report to him , however he says tell that to CS instead.

They continue, but he scolds them instead. They report that there's a new member in woodalchi, and that she came cause the King ordered for it. Even though ability is important for someone to be in woodalchi, but the King ordered for it.

He goes into woodalchi’s dorm to see who it is.

He sees ES inside, dressed as a warrior. She explains that this is the safest place in Goryeo. She will stay here and stick right next to him.

She says she got the King’s approval already, and even got a sword. She says there isn't a place for women, so she asks for a bed over here. She says she just needs chairs, and she can sleep just fine. Young shoos the woodalchi boys away from outside the door. He shuts back the door and goes to her. She continues, saying she will work to get food.  
He asks, "So you're gonna stay here, to be protected by me?" This means that Young cannot leave woodalchi for now :)  

He slowly walks in on her, towards the wall. 
She says yes, and tells him that he shouldn't go away anymore. They smile at each other. *squeeeeeeee*

This show is great. It gave me two gorgeous couples.
WHO'S SQUEALING WITH ME?! 
With every episode, the royal couple just pains me, more and more.
Their love is so beautiful. I'm so blessed. What did i do, to be able to see such a beautiful couple on screen? Haha, I'm not exaggerating here, they are just too beautiful to be true. No matter how hard things will get for them, we know that their love will get stronger, and that's enough for me I guess. More than i can ask for at least.
